Old Porch, New Life

This historic porch renovation in Essex, NY, showcases my passion for custom woodworking. Located in a town on the National Register of Historic Places, preserving the home’s exterior features was essential to maintaining its historic charm.

The porch was in need of complete repair, so we rebuilt it to match the original front porch. Every post and handrail was carefully replicated and handcrafted in my workshop before installation. Attention to detail was key, with floorboards and stairs built to mirror the original, staying true to the home's historic integrity.
