Conferences we regularly attend

Journal of Light Construction Conference

Sawteeth Carpentry regularly attends JLC Live, one of New England’s leading builder conferences, where our team gains hands-on training in green building, woodworking, and construction best practices. We also explore the latest industry products in the exhibit hall—and even make time for a little inspiration, like a recent visit to the RISD Art Museum.

International Builders Show

The International Builders Show offers unmatched insight with over 100 training sessions and 1,300 exhibitors. For our remote team in upstate New York, attending events like this ensures we stay current with materials, innovations, and industry leaders.

Better Building by Design

We prioritize staying informed about the latest advancements in energy efficiency and sustainable building practices. Attending the Better Building by Design Conference, hosted by Efficiency Vermont, allows our team to engage with industry leaders, participate in educational sessions, and explore innovative solutions that enhance our projects and benefit our clients.

High-Performance Building Materials Require
High-Performance Training

Our team has completed training with leading building material manufacturers, including SIGA, ROCKWOOL, SIGGS, and SCHLUTER SYSTEMS. High-performance products demand precise installation—when used incorrectly, even the best materials can lead to costly issues. That’s why we prioritize hands-on education to ensure every product is installed to the highest standards. The photos below highlight our experience at the SIGA High-Performance Construction Academy.
